The Calm Wear high-waist brief carries a 4-layer absorbent core sealed into the gusset — the same construction period underwear uses. The soft top layer pulls moisture off your skin, the core absorbs and holds it, and a sealed leakproof barrier means nothing reaches your clothes.
Tested in our own hands — and filmed
We don't publish factory numbers. We tested our own product with a syringe, on the spot where it matters, and put the footage on the site:
- 12ml — dry to the touch.
- 22ml — locked in, slightly damp inside.
- 40ml — damp inside, still sealed. Nothing through.
- 150ml stress test — poured across the pad, pressed hard with both hands, white tissue underneath came out dry.
How women wear it
Moderate flow days: one pair handles the day — no liner, no pad, no crinkle.
Heavy days: wear it as backup with your usual protection, and stop worrying about the sheet, the chair, the car seat.
Light days and spotting: it simply replaces the just-in-case liner — more comfortable, nothing to throw away.
The practical bits
Machine washable 100+ times at 30°C — rinse cold after wear, wash with your normal laundry, hang dry overnight. Wash before first wear: absorbency reaches full strength after 2–3 washes. Soft 92% bamboo viscose outer. Sizes S–XL on an honest centimetre chart. Plain, unbranded packaging, delivered anywhere in South Africa.
