Most everyday leaks are 1–5ml, so that covers a full day of sneezes, laughs and gym for most women. We publish what we measure, not what the factory promised — the uncut footage is on the product page. If you soak through heavy protection every day, this isn't the right product for you.

Through small everyday leaks, no — the top layer pulls moisture off your skin and the surface stays dry to the touch. After a larger leak you may feel some dampness inside, and that's the honest answer. What never happens is anything reaching your clothes — that's what the sealed barrier is for, and what the 150ml stress test proves.

Yes. The absorbent core and sealed barrier are the same construction period underwear uses. On moderate flow days one pair handles the day; on heavy days wear them as backup with your usual protection. More on the period underwear page.

The outer fabric is 92% bamboo viscose with 8% spandex — soft, breathable and stretchy enough to move with you. The absorbent core and the leakproof barrier are built in, not sewn on as a pad.

No. Moisture is pulled off the skin and locked inside the core, away from the air. Rinse after wear, machine wash at 30°C, and they come out fresh every time.

Wash before first wear — new fabric carries a light factory finish, and absorbency reaches full strength after 2–3 washes. After that: machine wash at 30°C, no fabric softener, and hang dry — skip the tumble dryer, because heat is what kills absorbency over time. Cared for properly, each pair is built for 100+ washes. Most people settle on 3–5 pairs: one on, one in the wash, one dry in the drawer. That's why the 3-pack is the practical minimum and the 5-pack is the best value — a full rotation in one order at a lower price per pair.

Yes — a single pair is available if you want to test it first. Just know that one pair can't rotate: on wash day you're without. Most first orders are the 3-pack for exactly that reason.

Yes — the same principle as the period underwear worn by millions of women. Rinse, machine wash at 30°C with your normal laundry, hang dry overnight, ready by morning.

No — underwear is intimate apparel, so for hygiene reasons we can't accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered, the same as at any underwear retailer. It's what lets us promise that nothing you receive has ever been opened or handled by someone else. If an item arrives with a manufacturing fault or isn't what you ordered, that's different: we'll replace it or refund you in full at our cost, under the Consumer Protection Act.
